Opened in 1985,
the Sports Centre has long been a popular sporting venue. Renovations have
recently been completed on brand new customer changing facilities and toilets.
With provisions for 5 a-side football, 3 Badminton
courts, Netball, Basketball, Table Tennis, Short Tennis, Indoor Bowls and
Street Hockey, the centre can cater for many tastes.
The Sports Hall is also used as a training venue for the Bramcote Archery Club
and the Broxtowe Model Car Club.
In recent years it has also become a popular venue for children's parties with
its 2 hour football and Bouncy Castle parties.
Craft fairs, Dog shows and the Greasley Horticultural show have also been held
at the centre.
The Lifestyles
Fitness Suite provides an excellent training facility at very affordable
prices.
The suite boasts a comprehensive range of Techno-gym cardiovascular and fix
resistance equipment. The functional and free weight areas have recently been
extended to provide a greater space for working out and each area contains an
array of equipment to help you get the most from your training.
The gym also houses a Powerplate and
a Wattbike, two pieces of equipment designed
to give that bit extra to your workout.
The Greasley
Parish Hall is an ideal room for many activities. Already used as a venue for
many clubs and classes, the room is also an ideal place for hosting parties,
fairs and fashions shows.
The Committee room is a perfect place to hold meetings, educational classes or
presentations.
Built in partnership with Greasley Beauvale School, the outdoor football
pitches boast a state of the art 3G surface that allows for play in almost any
weather.
Since their opening they have proved very popular and are used as the
training venue with many junior football teams during the winter months.
There is also an extended timetable of fitness classes available. The
Centre offers circuit training, HIIT classes, Boot-camps and fitness Pilates to
help you achieve your goals.
